One of my life mottos is "In the end, only kindness matters." And yes, I have no problem with the fact that Jewel supplied one of my life mottos. But it came to mind as I was considering why reality television so offends me. TV critic Glenn Garvin agrees that reality TV rots and may have helped me figure it out.
